The ADG and BDA have expressed serious concern about the current NHS England national procurement of orthodontic services. As a result, we have jointly requested an immediate review and halt of any ongoing and future procurement of orthodontic services, and to compensate providers left up to £30k out of pocket.
A letter was sent to Secretary of State and Simon Stevens which outlines the significant financial costs of the current tendering activity, as well as the adverse effect it is having on patient care.
